my vote...

waking up early even on weekends is becoming a routine for me... e fact i don't own the flat im staying plus a nagging forever aunt staying over confirm why i cannot wake up later than usual...

today is like no other weekends, just that some over 2m citizens will be voting the city-state next President.

politics dun ask me, as far i know the Prime Minister is the one with most power. what does the President does? his scope??? fark as if i know except he stays in the Istana and show face for occasions like Istana open house, football matches, racial harmony events blah blah blah...

just how much influence the President has over the government i dun know and i dun wanna know... it pisses me to go voting because my vote, yes my vote will not count for anything...

i dun know who e hell are e candidates... 9 days of campaigning and we citizens have to decide... what nonsense!

each candidate stand out and say "if u elect me, i will do this, do that..." who are fit to judge if he will deliver? only e Lord knows...

i did not listen to e candidates TV broadcast or go for their rallies... bcos i think my livelihood are more important than listening to "promises".

whoever is the President. e PM and his cabinet have e utmost power... full stop.

my vote will not go for e ex Defense guy, e ^5, so is down between e other 2. ive already chosen one bcos of a statement which mirrors me...

he said in one of his walkabout: "i think you have to give them the due respect......"

he who made this statement has my vote...
